Candidate’s Academy
The Orange Chamber of Commerce will be offering Chamber members and the public the opportunity to find out how to run for elected office during the upcoming Candidate’s Academy.
Speakers for the event will be Bill Steiner, former County Supervisor; Orange City Clerk Mary E. Murphy; and Kate Keena and Barbara Thomas from Keena Communications.
Topics covered will be legal requirements, the risks and rewards of running for office, and communication and tips on who to run an effective campaign.
